Being away from an AC power source doesn't mean you can't use your USB devices, appliances, and tools—as long as you have the Explorer 1000 Portable Power Station from Jackery charged up and ready to go. The Explorer 1000 uses a rechargeable 1002Wh Li-ion NMC battery and is equipped with an inverter that provides up to 1000 watts of pure sine power (2000 watts surge) through three standard grounded North American AC sockets. You can plug your USB gear into a QuickCharge 3.0+ USB Type-A port, a standard 5V 2A USB Type-A, or one of two USB Type-C ports. There's also a car cigarette-lighter-style 12V DC socket.
The power station can be recharged from multiple sources: AC power (7 hours), a 12V DC vehicle socket (14 hours), or solar (8 hours with two 100-watt panels). You'll see how much power is coming in or going out on the bright LCD display. The battery management system includes protection against over-voltage and short-circuits. At 13.1 x 11.1 x 9.2" and 22 pounds, the Explorer 1000 is suited RV or car camping, remote job sites, and power emergencies at home. The battery's shelf life is six months, and its lifespan is 500 charges.
