IRIX Cine Extreme 5-Lens Kit Overview

Get a range of focal lengths, including a 1:1 macro lens with the Leica L-mount white 5-Lens Extreme Set from IRIX. Covering both full-frame and Super35 formats, this set includes white 11, 21, 30, and 45mm T1.5/4.3 lenses, a 150mm T3 1:1 macro lens, and a filter set. These lenses have no distortion, provide beautiful bokeh, and share a 95mm front outside diameter and the same visual characteristics such as contrast, color, and sharpness. This kit includes a waterproof hard-shell case with custom foam cutouts to hold both the lenses and the filter set. The filter kit includes a UV filter, a CPL (circular polarizer) filter, an ND16 filter, and a zippered case.

IRIX 11mm T4.3 Cine Lens (L-Mount, Feet, White)

Designed for up to 8K cine-style image capture and covering up to full-frame size sensors, the white Lecia L-mount 11mm T4.3 Cine Lens from IRIX incorporates multiple internal and external design features. This 11mm lens will produce a classic wide-angle look or up to a 123° viewing angle in the 2.39:1 widescreen format, depending on your camera's sensor. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and a detachable 1/4"-20 support foot.

Internally, nine blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh for natural-looking out-of-focus highlights. To help eliminate aberrations and distortion, the IRIX 11mm T4.3 Cine Lens is constructed with 16 optical elements in 10 groups, including four HRI (high refractive index) and two ED (extra-low dispersion) elements. A Multi-Start Thread focusing mechanism delivers quiet, precise focusing even in wet or humid conditions or in extreme temperatures. This lens has 180° of focus, 75° of iris rotation, and an 86mm front filter thread, and it includes front and rear caps. Four seals protect against inclement weather and dust.

Cinematic Look

The IRIX Cine 11mm is a wide 43.3mm full-frame lens that uses 16 optical elements, including four high refractive index (HRI) and two extra low-dispersion glass (ED) elements, to create crisp cinematic shots in resolutions up to 8K while keeping the focus breathing at a minimum. This lens features a relatively fast T4.3 maximum aperture and can be stopped down to T22.

The lens is resistant to rain, sand, and dust, so you can take it for your next adventure in a desert or jungle if your camera can handle those environments. Engraved markings on the lens have been filled with UV-reactive paint, so filming in difficult lighting conditions becomes much easier.

Functionality and Innovation

All IRIX cinema lenses have very similar dimensions and weight, which allows for quick and easy lens changes without the need to change the rest of your setup. The product is equipped with a Magnetic Mounting System (MMS) that lets you connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge lineup or an optional lens hood.

This 11mm has a front filter thread size of 95mm and geared 0.8 MOD rings, which ensures compatibility with most accessories available on the market.
