A pro-level yet cost-effective mic positioning solution for podcasters, radio show hosts, voiceover artists, and livestreamers who rely on their Rode Podcaster or Procaster microphone, this B&H Kit features the Rode PSA1 studio boom arm, a Rode PSM1 shockmount (for Rode Podcaster or Procaster microphones), and an XLR mic cable. Not only does this kit provide smooth and silent operation while moving the mic, but it also isolates the mic from external vibrations to reduce rumble and handling noise.

RODE PSA1 Studio Boom Arm for Broadcast Microphones

The Rode PSA1 Studio Boom Arm is a two-section, spring-loaded broadcast microphone arm designed for quiet and flexible microphone positioning in broadcast radio studios, voiceover studios, etc. The PSA1 rotates 360 degrees and features a maximum reach of 32" (820mm) horizontally.

Auray Shockmount for Rode Podcast Mics and Mics with M20 Thread

The Auray SM-RM20 is a suspension-style shockmount designed to be used with broadcast and condenser mics that sport an M20 threaded studs. The shockmount is crafted out of metal to ensure dependability.

A key feature of this shockmount is its ability to prevent structural-borne vibrations from the stand itself, which can result in hours of editing audio if left unattended at the source. Since this shockmount effectively isolates the mic against such vibration, you will not have to worry about this undesirable, yet all-too-common problem in the studio.

The SM-RM20 utilizes heavy-duty elastic bands to suspend and isolate the microphone inside the basket. A threaded socket provides a secure locking connection between the shockmount and microphone. This connection is so secure that you can suspend your mic downwards from a boom arm. To facilitate optimum microphone placement, the angle of the shockmount is both adjustable and lockable.
