Nanlite Forza 720B Overview

The New Nanlite Forza 720 and 720B Spot Lights: Be the sunshine ¿

Designed for studio quality lighting on the road, the Forza 720B Bi-Color LED Monolight with Rolling Case from Nanlite is made to fill production roles usually handled by powerful HMI lights in a much more lightweight, compact, and heat-efficient package, with the added benefit of adjustable bi-color control. The COB LED component can deliver an immense amount of accurate colors with high CRI and TLCI ratings. It has a rated power of 800 watts, while being nimble enough to dim from 0 to 100% in 0.1% increments. It offers a suite of wireless control options for single lamp operation or more complex multi-light setups. 12 built-in practical effects can create complicated lighting scenarios in seconds and they can be customized and saved as recallable presets with the free NANLINK mobile app.

This high-performance light outputs up to 84,460 lux at 3.3' with its included 55° reflector and is easy to handle, mount, and position. You can easily control the fixture by analog selectors on the separate control unit. The control unit also acts as a multi-voltage power supply and features two integrated V-mount battery plates for optional battery use. A fully padded rolling case is supplied to safely transport and store the lamp head and its included accessories. Users will appreciate a retractable telescoping handle and two smooth-rolling bottom wheels to effortlessly take it all on the road.

High Color Accuracy

With an average CRI of 96 and TLCI of 97 and bi-color adjustability from 2700 to 6500K, the Forza 720B provides a high level of accuracy in precise color reproduction.

Suite of Wireless Control Options

The powerful NANLINK mobile app can be used via built-in Bluetooth. The separately available WS-TB-1 transmitter box can be paired with the built-in 2.4 GHz receiver for more elaborate setups. Advanced applications can utilize DMX and RDM control through XLR input and output.

Built-In Effects & Unlimited Customization

12 built-in practical effects allow the creation of complicated lighting scenarios in seconds, and all of the effects can be customized and saved as quickly recallable presets with the free NANLINK mobile app. Built-in practical effects include CCT loop, INT loop, flash, pulse, storm, TV, paparazzi, candle/fire, bad bulb, firework, explosion, and welding.

Bowens S-Type Reflector Mount

The Forza 720B monolight features the very common Bowens S-type reflector mount providing compatibility with a large number of light modifiers and lenses, including Nanlite's own line of Easy-Up softboxes, the Bowens mount projector, and the FL-20G Fresnel with barndoors.

Multi-Voltage AC or V-Mount Battery Operation

The Forza 720B can run on a standard AC outlet anywhere in the world, with an AC input range of 100 to 240 VAC. It can also operate in locations without AC power by using two 14.8V or 26V V-mount batteries, available separately.

High Battery-Powered Output

Similar lights from other brands are typically limited to 50% or less brightness when operating on battery power. The Forza 720B provides an output up to 65% for greater brightness on location.

Powered USB-A Port

A USB-A port provides power to external devices like DMX receivers and also acts as an interface for product firmware updates.

Full Featured Yoke

The yoke mount is compatible with both 5/8" baby pins and 1-1/8" junior mounts. The yoke itself has an umbrella holder and a durable, single-sided lock for quick adjustment.
